The date for this meeting will be Thursday, October 23rd, 7:00pm at the Miamiville Boat Club. This facility is located a block south of the post office.Take a left at the post office and go through the two rock columns, down the hill towards the Little Miami River where the Club is located. You will have the opportunity to ask questions pertaining to the WWTP and its proposed location. We need for the residents of Miamiville and Miami Township to come to this meeting. If the Powers to be do not see an interest then we can only blame ourselves. We do not want this Sewer in our residential area. Get involved, bring a friend or two and participate. Think of some questions that will convince the Commissioners not to choose Wards Corner. We need some volunteers to help pass out fliers and make some phone calls. Please respond to me, 831-4180 or to Marie Brown 831-2690 or to Bunny Roten 831-3406 to assist. We will try and use the Village Grocery for the main communication center, that is, fliers and signs. Don't forget that each Sat we meet informally at the Village Grocery to have coffee and talk about what's going on so if you can make this Sat please come around 9:00a. I will not be available this Sat....Marie should be. I'm sure there will be things for people to do for our upcoming meeting. The following is a letter I sent to the Community Press. Best to All Bob A Letter to the Editor A call to concerned citizens and residents of Miami Township A Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) is going to be built in the Miamiville Basin area in the near future according to the Clermont County Commissioners. The Commissioners are not exactly sure where this facility will be built but I’ll bet the residents and concerned citizens of this area are very interested and very concerned as to how their property will be affected. Therefore I suggest you and some of your closest friends join us for a good old fashion “Town Meeting” to be held Thursday, October 23rd at 7:00pm in Miamiville at the Miamiville Boat Club located one block south of the Post Office in Miamiville, near the Little Miami River. We will have on hand Mr. Tom Yeager, Director of Utilities for Clermont County and also the Clermont County Commissioners for the purpose of answering questions and informing the public of this proposed Waste Water Facility and its location.
