Story of building the Miamiville Fire House
started in 1943 and completed in 1945. A combination
fire house and community building.

First Fire Truck to Miamiville. This was
converted from a used dump truck by Frank Wiederhold and his
son Floyd, better known as 'Bud'. It
was built in the Miamiville Garage.

Milford Advertiser 9/9/82. Fire Chief
Harry Scott and EMS Chief Ed Humphrey with equipment outside
Fire House on Perry Lane. This was the third
ambulance to be owned by Miamiville FD & EMS.
First ambulance in service in 1972.
Purchased from Rossmoyne FD.
Second Ambulance shown at open house held to
introduce this unit to public as it was put into
service. Chief Ed Humphrey on left and Assistant Chief
Jim Danford on right. This was the first modular
ambulance in Clermont County. It was ordered a month
before Cincinnati ordered their first modular
ambulances.
Last Ambulance for Miamiville FD. This
was the fifth and final ambulance to be owned by Miamiville FD
& EMS. Merged with other Miami Township Fire Departments in 1990.
